Jonathan Medd shares his tales from the trenches of working within a software engineering organisation. Moving from waterfall to agile based projects and developing tooling and procedures for a DevOps focused method of software delivery.

Jonathan is a Cloud Automation Engineer at Atos leading a DevOps workstream. A PowerShell MVP since 2010 and VMware vExpert since 2011, he is the co-author of VMware vSphere PowerCLI Reference 1st and 2nd editions and co-organiser of PSDayUK, a PowerShell one day conference in the UK.

Developing and Testing Cross Platform Compatible Modules with PowerShell Core

Mark Wragg’s session will look at some of the considerations you need to make when authoring PowerShell code that you want to run successfully on multiple platforms via PSCore, along with how you can leverage a CI service like AppVeyor to test your code works successfully on both Windows and Linux.
